On April 15, 2007, the agency lost one of our first employees and a great friend Ian Bennett at the age of 26. Ian was a rockstar, revolutionary in everything he did. He was a musician, an artist and an overall incredible creative genius. He made music with passion. Created websites and experiences online that have set the benchmark of excellence for those that will follow. But, most importantly, he was simply an amazing person that you always wanted to have around. He is sorely missed.
In memory of Ian, a scholarship fund called the Ian Bennett/Situation Cares Memorial Fund was established. Through this fund, each year a high school student who shares Ian’s ability to take artistic risk is awarded a $2,000 dollar scholarship to help support their passion through higher education.
We are now accepting applications for the 2017 Scholarship. The deadline for applications is April 20, 2018. If you would like to apply, click here.
In October of 2015, we released an agency album that was largely inspired by Ian’s commitment to artistic risk. You can listen to and download Keyboards and Plastic Microphones here.
